ssh-proxyc and Z/OS V2r1

Post by Gege-Bial » Wed Jan 18, 2017 9:15 am

I read 'SHARE in San Antonio 2016' and found ssh-proxyc quite interesting in order to make working a sftp via proxy socks.
Could you confirm if this can work only in z.os2.2 environment ?
We currently run z/0s2.1 and ssh -V
OpenSSH_6.4p1, OpenSSL 1.0.1c 10 May 2012

ssh-proxyc is designed to work (only) for OpenSSH that supports "ProxyFDPass".

For z/OS OpenSSH, this requires z/OS V2R2 OpenSSH with PTF UA79909.
